The $1 POC — Terms

The $1 POC is a paid trial month of Cited’s full done-for-you AI visibility service, offered at $1 to companies we accept after application and a discovery call. It is not a free service — the $1 fee is real, charged on confirmation, and signifies your commitment to participating in good faith.

We offer the POC at our discretion to companies that meet our fit criteria — including but not limited to B2B sales-led companies with average deal size of $5,000 or more, an existing marketing function, and the ability to engage commercially at $8,000/month should the engagement continue. We reserve the right to decline any application without explanation.

During the POC month we build and run the core elements of our standard service. The specific scope is shared with you in writing once you’re accepted. Scope is set by us, in line with what we believe will move your AI visibility fastest in 30 days. The POC does not include unlimited revisions, ad-hoc requests, or custom work outside the agreed scope.

By participating, you agree to:

• Provide reasonable access to information we need about your business, positioning, and category
• Respond to our questions and reviews within 3 business days
• At the end of the POC month, either: (a) confirm continuation at the standard monthly rate, or (b) provide a written testimonial reflecting your honest experience of the work, regardless of whether you continue

At the end of the month, we’ll review the work delivered together. You can:

• Continue at the standard rate of $8,000/month (or your agreed tier), invoiced monthly, no long-term contract, cancel anytime with 30 days’ notice
• Decline to continue — in which case the engagement ends and you provide the testimonial as noted above

If you continue past the POC month, we promise measurable AI visibility movement within 90 days of POC start, measured against the baseline we set together at day zero. If we haven’t moved the measurable metrics we agreed at baseline by day 90, we keep working at no additional cost until we do, for up to 90 additional days.

“Measurable visibility” means appearance and prominence across the AI engines and search surfaces we agree to track at outset — not rankings, not commercial outcomes (which depend on factors outside our control, including your sales process).

We work with one company per direct competitive category at any given time. If a competitor in your category becomes a Cited client first, your category is closed to new engagements until that engagement ends. The POC reserves your category for the duration of the POC month only — category exclusivity continues only if you continue as a paying client.

Cited doesn’t work with any business or activity related to the following:

• Dating and escort services
• Pornography
• Weapons
• Cashback services
• Chemicals and related products
• Video-game arcades
• Trading in cryptocurrency
• Binary options or gambling
• Debt collection

If you operate in or alongside any of the above, we won’t be the right fit — and we’ll let you know early rather than late.

Both parties agree to keep confidential any non-public information shared during the POC and any subsequent engagement. Cited may reference your company name and high-level results in case studies and marketing materials only with your written consent — your testimonial counts as that consent unless you specify otherwise in writing.

This POC offer is available for a limited period and to a limited number of companies. We reserve the right to close, modify, or withdraw the offer at any time without notice. Acceptance into the POC is at our sole discretion and is final.
